A fiercely competitive game tonight.
Like the last match the team with 3 players beat the team with 4. Credit in large part must go to Ben Rosenbaum, who was the common factor in both match-winning sides, but a large chunk of the credit must go to Rob McCabe, who marked his debut with a fine performance that earned him the Man of the Match accolade!

Match Report 15 September 2008
It was a question of Daniel beating Goliath as three players beat four by the healthy margin of 10-7.
Ben brushed aside any lingering doubts about what effect the injury to his hand would have on his effectiveness and the world-famous fitness of those stalwarts of the etape, Henry and Diye, was strongly in evidence.
Paul looked like he had knocked off any rust that may have been there a fortnight ago and had a Sheringham-like knack of finding himself in threatening positions. Roy and Martin made incisive runs, which helped move the score from 8-4 to 8-7 but it was not enough and Ben, Diye and Henry triumphed.
Man of the match: Diye Wariebi

Match Report 1 September 2008
A tremendous contest tonight with fine performances from all and sundry. Particularly noteworthy were fine debuts from Diye and Paul.
Man of the match, however, must go (and I deny in advance charges of nepotism) to Martin Rosenbaum, who proved a thoroughly effective force, setting up and scoring goals and still having the energy to break down the oppositions' attacks.
Great fun, good turnout, surprisingly good conditions - next match September 15th - everyone welcome!
